Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and enforcing quality assurance protocols and procedures specific to EORE, NTS and all other CL components along the support of STM/CLMs.
- Overseeing the implementation of quality control measures to ensure compliance with all relevant SOPs and regulations in EORE, NTS and Community Liaison activities to ensure MAG’s identified sufficient level of performance is obtained.
- Quality Assurance /Quality Control (QA/QC) of CL activities, including but not limited to: RE sessions, NTS, Weekly Plan, Pre/post RE assessments, Pre/post Clearance assessments, supporting operation teams, Report all to line manager.
- Conducting regular visits to all field CL teams in MAG sectors in FI and KRI to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to International Mine Action standards, National Mine Action standards and MAG Standard Operating procedures and identify deficiencies in quality implementation of activities and recommend appropriate actions to address these deficiencies.
- Providing training and guidance to EORE and NTS personnel on quality management practices including safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and best practices in EORE and NTS operations as necessary.
- Analyzing data and performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of quality management systems in EORE, NTS and other CL components.
- Investigating incidents and complaints related to EORE and NTS activities other CL components, and implementing corrective actions as necessary to prevent recurrence with the guidance of STM.
- Participating in external meetings or trainings relevant to EORE and NTS functions, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.
- Keeping abreast of standard trends and advancements in approaches to continuously enhance quality standards and practices within EORE, NTS and other CL CL components under the guidance of CLMTL and/or STM.
- Assist the CLMs in identifying training needs and contribute to the development and implementation of community liaison training plans and deliver the trainings as necessary.
- Ensure that all security policies and Standard Operating Procedures at any occation in the field and report non-compliance and any security incidents to the Security Coordinator.
- Adhere to safety in the field as per the guidelines at all times.
General duties as MAG staff:

- Ensure familiarity with and adhere to all MAG policies and procedures and keep informed of MAG activities.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Person Specification
Essential
- Must have experience in HMA, and understanding of NTS and EORE are mandatory.
- Must have minimum four years of experience in CL Department.
- Must have experience and knowledge in Quality Management.
- Must be fluent in speaking/writing English and fluently speaking in Arabic and Kurdish.
- Must be proficient in MS Office packages, Internet and E-mail.
- Must have good interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be able to travel all part of the country where the MAG operations are and overstay in sectors as per the required period.
- Must hold a valid driving license, with skills in driving long distances.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to work in minimum supervision.
- Ability to write reports.
- Ability to effectively work with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge in GPS, Compass, maps, IM/GIS and data collection tools.
- Ability in conducting training.
