Followed by two days, or 40%, a week in the office afterwardsPlease note, to make the most of our training, it’s essential that you can commit to the start date above and be able to attend the Dundee office 5 days per week until completion.About this opportunityWe launched the Dundee Tech School in November 2023 with the first cohort of 12 Junior Developers who underwent a 20-week Engineering training programme before joining their business teams under supervision of the Tech School Lead. Following its’ success, we’re now looking to recruit approx. 20 more roles that will make up 2 teams to deliver our Gamification initiative.As part of our Dundee based Tech School cohort, you will be supported in upskilling through a structured 9-week training programme before becoming an integral part of a feature team within our Customer Waterfront Lab evolving our Digital Channels.Our mission is to help customers feel confident and in control of their finances, now and into the future. - Proficiency in a programming language such as Swift, Javascript, Python, or Java
- A basic understanding of iOS development and passion for iOS as a platform
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Passion for mobile app development and eagerness to learn
Experience of these would be really useful:
- Experience with software test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium etc
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational datastores
- Experience with Git for version control
- An interest in gamification and/or engaging educational content
