LOGISTICS TEAM LEADER

We are currently recruiting for a Quality & Logistics Team Leader, on behalf of our client, based in Saltash.

Working Monday to Friday with a salary offered between £28k and 30k, the company also offers generous benefits including:

As a logistics team leader the job will involve:

• You will be the first point of contact for the day to day management of the Quality and Stores/Despatch department.
• Motivate and lead the team to achieve targets and planned tasks
• Carry out regular team briefings
• Implement a process of continuous improvement and development and hold product/process improvement reviews.
• Scheduling
• Recommend actions to ensure planned workloads are suitably resourced
• Carry out on the job training with team members
• Absence management
• Maintain appropriate stock levels
• Provide written reports

You will be working closely with the production and planning teams.
To be considered for this role you will need:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a team leader role
• Experience with writing reports and planning
• Experience of working in a Lean Manufacturing environment
• Confidence in using computers
