Scope of Position
Responsible for supporting the organization’s use of quality improvement tools and methods (DMAIC/PDSA) to improve processes and outcomes of the Ohio Medicaid’s Care Innovation and Community Improvement Program (CICIP). The CICIP Quality Manager works closely with the CICIP Domain leads/teams and CICIP Program Manager to identify opportunities for improvement and support projects that have a collective impact on overall program performance. The Quality Manager works closely with the domain work groups to implement changes, monitor impact, and communicate progress to leadership.
Position Summary
Responsible for evaluating patterns, trends, and processes to improve the quality of care for patient across the CICIP Domains. Provides oversight of CICIP performance improvement initiatives, including prioritization and implementation of performance improvement activities, assessing performance, evaluating progress, identifying gaps and provide recommendations for process improvement tools and methods. Identifies and removes barriers that prevent successful attainment of process improvement goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in health-related specialty or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare quality management experience.
- Demonstrated experience and results using quality improvement tools (DMAIC/PDSA).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and facilitation skills.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends, best practices as they relate to the delivery of high quality & safe health care.
- Strong analytical skills and project management experience.
- Demonstrate solid history of achieving results with complex and dynamic teams.
