Wates Construction are looking for a Quality Manager to join our Construction Business in the Midlands on an exciting, high value project.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Management and oversight of quality control for the designated project and support the Construction Team with the practical application of Digital / Field Tools to proactively record inspections and snagging, and compliance with our Operating Framework
  • Investigation of incidents where quality / workmanship is the root cause ensuring appropriate remedial activities, identifying areas for improvement / lessons learnt and implementing necessary improvements.
  • Review Construction performance against industry practice, to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, specification, and best practice.
  • Lead on continual improvement of the Operating Framework (OF) ensuring relevance to the business, informed by feedback from Operating Framework users, Field View / Dalux data, external audits, compliance reviews, incidents, complaints, industry best practice and lessons learnt
