As they continue to grow, they are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Quality and Safeguard Manager to join their passionate team.
Impact you will have in this role
Leading with an innovative and excellence mindset, the Quality & Safeguard Lead will drive process improvement ensuring effective quality systems are implemented, maintained, and monitored for compliance against policies and processes, governing legislation, and NDIS regulations and standards.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will ensure quality practice and drive standards of care across all service areas in alignment with evidence-based research, ethics, and regulatory compliance requirements in safeguarding.
Leading a skilled and committed specialist quality team of 3 while also collaborating with TLC’s management teams to manage risks, achieve accreditation, and meet quality management objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Preparation and Support: Assist in preparing documents for site and external audits, ensuring all materials are accurate and complete
- NDIS Certification: Coordinate and implement necessary compliance measures to support TLC in obtaining NDIS certification
- Regulatory Enquiries: Review claims and respond to NDIS Commission enquiries with timely and accurate communication
- Gap Analysis Reports: Conduct thorough reports to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address deficiencies
- Policy and Procedure Development: Design and update organisational processes, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
- Regulatory Knowledge Maintenance: Maintain expert knowledge of national quality and safeguarding policies and regulations
- Quality and Compliance Reporting: Collect, analyse, and report on various Quality and Compliance matters
- Training and Development: Design and deliver targeted training programs to meet compliance requirements and enhance capabilities across the organisation
- Risk Management: Identify hazards, control risks, and implement health and safety plans to ensure a safe working environment
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing guidance and mentoring with a focus on continuous improvement
Skills and Experience
- Proven success in a senior quality role, with experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring continuous improvement practices
- Success creating and promoting improvement activity through the implementation of processes and policies, while mapping standards to build an excellence framework
- Knowledge and thorough understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework
- Ability to imbed processes and best practices across an organisation by creating learning experiences across teams that promote improvement across all diverse service delivery functions
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate
- High levels of attention to detail, with the ability to make an impact through a balanced focus on small details and the bigger picture across organisational layers
- Excellent project management and reporting skills, with the ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions
- Flexibility to work in an evolving environment, with the ability to effortlessly pivot and manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
- A commitment to promoting independence, inclusion, and quality of life for people with disabilities
- Willingness to travel to multiple local and state based sites as required
- Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, first aid certificate and Australian driver’s license
