About the Company:

Our client are a family-owned, well-established roofing contractor with an excellent reputation within the industry. They predominantly deliver projects across the new build housing sector, operating across the North West.

About the role:

The Quantity Surveyor will contribute to the financial success and efficiency of projects by managing costs and ensuring that resources are used effectively throughout each project’s life cycle.

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:

• Cost Estimation: Provide accurate cost estimates for construction projects during the planning and design phases.
• Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets for construction projects, considering materials, labour, and other associated costs.
• Tendering: Prepare and analyse tender documents for contractors, helping clients choose the most suitable contractor for the project.
• Contract Management: Administer construction contracts, ensuring that both parties (client and contractor) comply with contractual terms and conditions.
• Cost Control: Monitor project costs throughout its lifecycle, identifying potential cost overruns and recommending corrective actions.
