An esteemed development group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor for an immediate start on the prestigious Waterfront project.About the Project:The Waterfront project is a landmark development set to transform the riverside landscape valued at over £100M. This ambitious project includes:
- Luxury Residences: A collection of high-end apartments designed with contemporary architecture and premium finishes including over 290 homes
- Retail Spaces: A vibrant mix of shops, cafes, and restaurants to create a lively community hub
- Leisure Facilities and Green Space
Role and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that the project stays within budget by managing costs effectively
- Preparing detailed financial reports and budgets
- Analysing tenders and procuring subcontractors and suppliers
- Drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Conducting regular valuations and managing payment applications
- Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Regular visits to the site to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Requirements:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience on high end, large scale residential or commercial projects as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
