An esteemed development group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor for an immediate start on the prestigious Waterfront project.About the Project:The Waterfront project is a landmark development set to transform the riverside landscape valued at over £100M. This ambitious project includes:

• Luxury Residences: A collection of high-end apartments designed with contemporary architecture and premium finishes including over 290 homes
• Retail Spaces: A vibrant mix of shops, cafes, and restaurants to create a lively community hub
• Leisure Facilities and Green Space

Role and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the project stays within budget by managing costs effectively
• Preparing detailed financial reports and budgets
• Analysing tenders and procuring subcontractors and suppliers
• Drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers
• Conducting regular valuations and managing payment applications
• Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies
• Regular visits to the site to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contractual obligations

Requirements:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience on high end, large scale residential or commercial projects as a Quantity Surveyor
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
