Urgently needed – Quantity SurveyorCirca £55kFull timeSTOW ON THE WOLDBased in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds (near Stow on the Wold) our client, a very reputable Cotswold property developer with an amazing portfolio, is currently enjoying huge success and growth. Due to this growth and demand they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to come on board and be part of their team.Undoubtedly this role is for someone that would like the sensation of running their own business within the infrastructure and support of a company. Someone who can run up to 6 or 8 projects at any one time and be responsible for their own time and delivery.The perfect candidate will be responsible for:

• All pre-contract pricing, variation management, valuations and cost control.
• Negotiating confidently on behalf of our client and be responsible for all profit and turnover.
• Managing a competitive or negotiated tender process gathering subcontractor quotes and submitting tender documents per company templates.
• Managing the provisioning and order process to ensure the clients are getting best value.
• Produce Cost reports and drive efficiencies to ensure project margins are maintained.
• Input to regular meetings with the client to report on costs against Budget and variations to date, also to resolve any conflicts or concerns arising.

Experience Required:

• Significant experience of working in period renovations with project values form £250k to £5m is required.
• Minimum 5 years career experience
• Experience of managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.

This role will be based one day a week in the clients office near Stow on the Wold and the rest of the week on site or from home (flexibility is key).This is genuinely the most exciting opportunity for someone feeling rather stale where they are and wanting to be part of a growing and dynamic organisation.
