Quantity Surveyor – Devon
An incredible opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a regional contractor on a permanent basis. This contractor undertake a variety of sectors including new build Education, Healthcare, Leisure and Commercial. You will be responsible for the preparation and submission of tenders under a variety of forms of procurement. As a Quantity Surveyor working with this regional contractor, you will manage the commercial resources of the assigned project to maximise cashflow. This position is a for a new multimillion pound commercial build!Responsibilities:

– To support the project team with commercial and contractual expertise -[
– Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks -[
– Implement policies for risk management -[
– Preparation and presentation of monthly cost reports -[
– Value works executed by Sub-Contractors -[
– Certify interim and final payments -[
– Prepare subcontract invitations to tender and evaluate tender returns -[
– Manage prompt preparation and settlement of final accounts, including variations, claims and disputes -[
– Monitor and track project costs, including variations, change orders, and progress payments to ensure financial control and accuracySkills:

– Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or construction related -[
– Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to perform accurate calculations and cost analysis -[
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers -[
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with quantity surveying software -[
– Relevant driving licence
