A reputable consultancy is actively seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in North Dublin and contribute to ongoing projects.

The company specializes in various project types, including Data Centres, Pharma, hotels, schools, residential, and commercial projects for both public and private sector clients who offer an attractive career progression path and provide the flexibility of hybrid working, along with a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor Role:

  • Take charge of assigned projects
  • Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with customers, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Measure, price, negotiate, and agree on budgets and costs for variations to project scope
  • Ensure correctness of project costs and address queries promptly
  • Participate in pre-contract meetings, liaise with construction professionals, and ensure timely completion of agreed actions
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date procurement schedules
  • Issue invitations to tender, analyze subcontractor quotations, and make recommendations for order placement
  • Compile and submit subcontract orders for approval
  • Conduct site visits to measure and value completed works
  • Assess subcontractor payment entitlement and process payments
  • Reconcile cost and value to date/forecast, keeping the management team informed of project performance
  • Collaborate closely with contract and site management staff to support office and site operations, undertaking additional duties as required

Experience Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor Role::

  • Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • Possess a minimum of one year of Quantity Surveyor experience, preferably in a consultancy setting
  • Motivated, driven, and effective in a team environment
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word

Salary for this Quantity Surveyor role position is paying between €60,000 – €75,000.

(Negotiable dependent upon experience), bonus scheme, car allowance, plus further additional benefits
