UNICEF’s Global Shared Services Centre (GSSC) in Budapest, Hungary provides services to UNICEF offices globally in the areas of Finance, Human Resources, Payroll and Business Information and Technology.

The HR Administration Section delivers high quality, responsive, timely and equitable human resources services for UNICEF offices which include onboarding, staff entitlements, benefits, separation and other administration support. Human Resources Assistants and Associates in RAS provide administrative, procedural and operational support to the efficient implementation of recruitment services for all categories of staff globally, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of services in compliance with UNICEF HR rules and regulations.

– a net minimum monthly salary of approximately HUF 498,070.00 at GS5 level
– a net minimum monthly salary of approximately HUF 587,257.00 at GS6 level

Internal applicants from GSSC are required to complete the GSSC Learning Path corresponding to their current level before applying for another position. Additionally, they must attach to their application a screenshot from Agora, clearly demonstrating completion of the learning path. General Service (GS) staff are locally recruited staff and therefore, candidates are personally responsible for any travel and accommodation arrangements. UNICEF does not facilitate MFA accreditation for locally recruited staff.
The foreseen start date for the advertised positions is from March-May 2024.
