Following the launch of the UN Disability Inclusion Strategy (UNDIS) last year and UNICEF’s work towards become a more inclusive organization, UNICEF Thailand Country office has adopt the new UNICEF procedure on disability-inclusive human resources management for implementation (PROCEDURE/DHR/2020/009).
The intern will join Human Resources team of UNICEF Thailand Country Office as part of Diversity Inclusive workforce. The incumbent will work under Operations unit in promoting UNICEF branding and job vacancies among local labor market in digital spaces to attract high qualified candidates; especially those from underrepresented group to join the workforce.
Work Assignment:
- Support in Identifying and implementing best practices and innovative approaches to improve outreach on recruitment.
- Support in developing editorial and content for recruitment and attracting-talent purpose that align with the organization’s brand guidelines and standards.
- Collaborate with the Communication team to maximize digital channel under UNICEF Thailand to promote branding as UNICEF be an employee of choice.
- Tracking and monitoring response/ success rate of using different online channel for recruitment and outreach.
- Propose digital plan relevant to outreach in attracting high caliber of candidates.
- Develop guidelines, templates, and resources in creating and sharing digital content.
- Support content creation, editing, and optimization, as needed.

Qualifications of Successful Candidate:
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. degree programme or have graduated within the past two years.
- Be proficient in English and Thai, particularly writing for public relations purpose.
- Residing in Thailand.
- Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, digital spaces for outreach, recruitment, or job search.
- Solid overall computer literacy also in using digital platforms/ applications for project management.
- Attention to detail, sound judgement and discreet.
- Additional consideration will be given for any past experience.
- Accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, culturally and social sensitive.
- Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in challenging environment and in multicultural team of international professionals.
- Self-motivated and ability to work with tight deadline.
- Consideration will be given to candidates with disabilities.

Conditions of Intern:
- Expenses: Stipend according to UNICEF’s guideline is applicable.
- Health/Medical insurance: UNICEF accepts no responsibility for costs or fatality arising from illness or accidents incurred during the internship whether on or off UNICEF premises. The intern must carry adequate and regular medical insurance. The intern will be required to provide with a proof of medical insurance prior to commence work.
- Confidentiality. The intern is required to respect the confidentiality of information that s/he collect or is exposed to at UNICEF. No reports or papers may be published based on information obtained from UNICEF without the explicit written authorization by the Head of Office or Division Director.
- Impartiality. The intern is required to respect the impartiality and independence required of UNICEF and will not seek or accept instructions regarding the services performed under the internship agreement from any Government or from any authority external to UNICEF.
- Employment Prospects. There is no expectance of employment at the end of the internship.
