Job Description

  • Establish a two-way flow of information for targeted clients and audiences, promptly responding to their inquiries and providing accurate information.
  • Reply to messages and comments received through Beporsed’s website, social media platforms, and other communication channels, ensuring effective moderation.
  • Assist targeted clients and audiences, including Afghans in need, in finding access to information and services provided by resettlement and national/international organizations.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive database of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and their corresponding answers, aligning with Signpost Afghanistan’s mission. Stay updated with the latest information released by Beporsed and other credible sources on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide feedback on representative and noteworthy comments while monitoring trends in conversations and identifying information gaps.
  • Collaborate with the Signpost team to identify content development opportunities in areas where gaps are identified.
  • Follow protocol to escalate communications when necessary, leveraging the expertise of a team of experts and adhering to moderation guidelines.
  • Analyze information gaps to inform future content creation, sharing opinions, feedback, cultural awareness, contextual knowledge, and ongoing learning with the broader team.
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with team members to ensure facilitated access to information for diverse populations, including women, girls, men, boys, persons with disabilities, and older persons.
  • Assist team members in achieving objectives and completing tasks as required by the project.
  • Perform any other job related tasks assigned by the Editorial Manager based on the requirements of Beportseds platforms.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Communications, International relations, Marketing Business Development, Literature, Law, Social Science, or any related to the communication field.
  • Minimum of  2 to 3 years of experience in writing, research, media, communications, call center
  • Strong communication, community engagement, and customer satisfaction skills
