Receptionist – Live In

We are looking to fill the role of Receptionist at The Highbury Centre. The Highbury Centre is a registered charity in London, Islington, established in 1893 with the mission to provide affordable accommodation for foreign and home missionaries, Christian workers and friends all over the world. With its 40 guest rooms, 3 meeting rooms, comfortable lounges and spacious back garden, it offers various options and a peaceful stay for those who come to London.

Mission Statement: At The Highbury Centre, we are dedicated to serving the Lord and His people, making it imperative for our staff to embrace this mission wholeheartedly.

Salary: £22,269

Expected Start: Late April 2024 is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Manage guest bookings and check-ins/check-outs.
• Handle payments and correspondence with prospective guests.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Assist in other departments as needed for the smooth operation of the Centre.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A hands-on approach with a willingness to assist in various tasks.
• Sympathy with the Christian faith and our mission at The Highbury Centre.
