OverviewWe are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Recovery Claims Handler. You’ll be responsible for efficiently managing a caseload of claims, ensuring timely resolution and exceptional client service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong attention to detail.
How you’ll make an impact

  • Open claims on the office case management system and conduct initial enquiries.
  • Communicate with third parties and third-party insurers through letters of claim, telephone calls, and correspondence negotiations to achieve swift settlement.
  • Issue court proceedings when necessary and manage litigated claims until settlement or conclusion.
  • Ensure full compliance with all office protocols, client service level agreements, and client “key performance indicators” for all claims handled independently.
  • Maintain 100% data integrity compliance on the office case management system for all own handled claims.
  • Adhere to all financial transactions and Solicitors Accounts Rules to ensure full compliance.
  • Identify and maximize fee earning opportunities while prioritizing client recoveries.

About You

  • Strong knowledge of claims handling processes and procedures.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in using case management systems and other relevant software.
  • Familiarity with financial transactions and Solicitors Accounts Rules.
