Recreational Trails Foreman

The Morris County Park Commission is seeking a Recreational Trails Foreman to perform maintenance, construction and repairs to trails and associated infrastructure along recreational trails throughout the Morris County Park System. This position will assist with and oversee others, including staff, volunteers and vendors, in the completion of trail related tasks including inspections to identify areas for routine maintenance and improvements, the design and layout of new trails and realignments and project planning and oversight.

Candidates should have 5 years of experience in the field of trail construction and maintenance and must be proficient in the operation of chainsaws, brush cutters, small engine machines and hand-tools.

Candidates must be highly self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects independently in an efficient and timely manner.
