A wonderful opportunity to lead and inspire this newly formed and enthusiastic Benefice of six small rural parishes just outside Blandford in the beautiful North Dorset countryside.

This post would offer:

• Vibrant and supportive congregations willing to work with a new incumbent for the good of all.
• A team of hard-working and experienced PCCs, Churchwardens, lay ministers, lay worship leaders and retired clergy who are confident with responsibility, will take initiative and relieve the burden of administrative and share in leading worship.
• Many possibilities for mission within the village communities, two thriving primary schools and with others in the deanery including the possibility of a Group Ministry, to encourage the further sharing of resources and collaborative working.

We are eagerly and prayerfully seeking a Rector who will come among us and actively enjoy engaging with all ages, through community involvement and in both formal and informal worship. Someone to help us grow together and develop new ways of Making Jesus Known in our communities.

The Benefice sits between Cranborne Chase and the Blackmore Vale, within reach of the Coast, Dorchester and Salisbury.
