Main objective
Lead the coordination and implementation of ReFOCUS’ marketing strategy in collaboration with the team as Marketing Coordinator. This role preferably requires experience in marketing, communication or administration.
Hours: 20 hours per week
Duration: Minimum of 6 months
Location: Preferably based in Athens, Greece or remote

Responsibilities
As the Marketing and Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our overall marketing and social media strategy. Your work will be instrumental in promoting our brand, showcasing the work of our artists and students, and raising awareness about the migration crisis.
Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and social media strategy aligned with our organization’s goals and values.
- Collaborate with different departments to promote projects, events, and initiatives.
Content Creation and Management:
- Create engaging, informative, and relevant content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Manage the content calendar to ensure consistent and impactful online presence.
Brand Advocacy and Storytelling:
- Craft compelling narratives that highlight the work and experiences of our students and artists.
- Ensure brand consistency in tone and messaging across all marketing materials and platforms.
Engagement and Community Building:
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with the community on social media platforms.
- Foster an online community supportive of our mission and values.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of social media campaigns and strategies.
- Provide regular reports on social media performance and insights to guide future strategies.
Collaboration and Networking:
- Work closely with the marketing team, external partners, and influencers to expand our reach and impact.
- Participate in and contribute to networking events and collaborations.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing and social media management.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms.
- Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
- Passion for social causes, particularly relating to refugees and migration issues.
- Creative, strategic, and proactive in approach.
- Experience in non-profit or advocacy-based marketing is a plus.
