*The successful candidate will be required to work onsite at GSK Barnard Castle, County Durham, UK every four to six weeks. You will develop and maintain standards and services for deployment.In this role you will…

• Deliver rapid and effective Incident/Problem/Event Management for Automation systems at site, taking full accountability for resolution, no matter which resolving agency is finally responsible for the solution
• Deliver full Lifecycle management for the site Automation environments, including OT infrastructure, flagging and enabling refresh of all components within the environment.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring improvements identified in the GSC network are, where possible fed into the product lifecycle.
• To train, mentor and coach Automation engineers and technicians, in ways which support sharing and embedding of their knowledge.
• Provide technical expertise to the GSC site on novel and advanced automated manufacturing/packaging processes.

Why you?Basic Qualifications & Skills:We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Degree in a Science or Technology related discipline (Controls, Operational Technology (OT) or Engineering.)
• Detailed experience supporting OT technology within the Pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience working directly in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven Leadership Skills in a cGMP environment.
• Must include experience gained from hands-on programming and troubleshooting for Automation or MES systems.
• Experience in OT architectures and firewalls
