Project Summary
MUBADARA: Fostering an Enabling Environment for Civil Society in Iraq project is aimed at catalyzing a transformational shift in Iraq’s civil society landscape and its relationship with governance and development. The overarching goal is for CSOs in Iraq to emerge as independent actors of good governance and development.
REQUIERMENTS/ QULFICATIONS & PREFERED SKILLS
Knowledge and understanding the national and international Human rights Principals.
Strong networks with the civil society organization and Authorities.
Strong inter-personal, negotiating, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication with relevant computer skills.
Strong personal integrity and commitment to accountability.
Able to work independently and with team. Able to prioritize and self-motivation.
Represent PFO organization in meetings that relevant in civil society topic.
Degree in law, Political Science, civil society & international relations, Education or any relevant.
Minimum three years’ experience working in related projects management.
Strong oral and written communication in English, Arabic and Kurdish language.
Report written skills.
Regional Coordinator responsibilities
Participate in Meetings in particular with civil society:
Attendance Weekly and Monthly Meetings about civil society updates
Submit monthly reports about Situation of civil society in KRI and Iraq
Project Planning:
Develop a comprehensive project plan, including objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.
Team Leadership:
Assemble and lead a project team.
Provide guidance, support, and motivation to team members.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate with project stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project goals.
Regularly update stakeholders on project progress.
Address concerns and feedback from stakeholders.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop a risk management plan.
Implement strategies to mitigate and manage project risks.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the project budget.
Ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
Monitor and control project expenses.
Timeline Management:
Develop and maintain a project schedule.
Ensure that project milestones are met on time.
Adjust timelines as needed based on project changes.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Keep records of project activities, decisions, and changes.
Ensure documentation is accessible to relevant team members.
Conflict Resolution:
Address conflicts within the project team.
Mediate and resolve issues among team members.
Reporting:
Provide regular project status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
Highlight achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
Knowledge Transfer:
Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
Ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary skills and information.
