Tearfund are looking for a dedicated and passionate DME Advisor to support our work in the Southern & East Africa (SEA) region.
The Design Monitoring and Evaluation (DME) Advisor will be responsible for ensuring that country teams have effective DMEAL (Design, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning) processes that can track progress, capture evidence of impact and that facilitate continual learning and adaptation.
In this role you will build the technical DMEAL capacity of staff in the Region in turn enabling them to build the capacity of partners and local church/church based organisations. And you will work closely with the Impact and Effectiveness Team to implement Tearfund corporate DME initiatives and requirements, and assist in ensuring that corporate DME initiatives are contextually relevant.
We’re looking for a motivated, and experienced professional with a strong technical background in design, monitoring and evaluation work.
- Do you have experience of establishing successful monitoring and evaluation frameworks?
- Are you able to give advice and support to others in order to influence their working practices?
- Do you have a passion for learning and continual improvement?
- Are you fluent in English and an experienced user of digital data collection and management tools and technology?
