Regional Health and Safety Partner (South-West)Location: Hybrid – Chepstow, Lee Mill, BodminSalary: ~ £60,000 + WFH + Car Allowance + Milage + Additional BenefitsWe’ve been engaged by a leading Nationwide Fresh Produce Distribution Company to recruit a Regional Health and Safety Partner in the South-West. This role is specifically focused on working alongside Operation Managers and the wider HSE Team to drive a positive Health and Safety initiatives throughout the business.Responsibilities of the Regional Health and Safety Partner will include:

• Providing the subject-matter expertise, leadership and coaching to build safety & health capability across the site.

• Ensure the site is compliant with UK legislation and in line with the overall UK strategy for Health and Safety.
• Engaging with members of staff at all levels across the site to improve awareness and commitment to Health and Safety issues.
• Managing a regular audit and inspection programme, assessing Health and Safety performance and identifying any areas of improvement.
• Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies as required.

The successful Regional Health and Safety Partner will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role ideally within a related logistics, warehousing or distribution environment
• Ideally NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (or working towards) and Membership of IOSH or other relevant professional body.
• A strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation.
• An enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety.
