An exciting opportunity to join Rubix as a Regional Insite Manager (“RIM”). The Key Insites function is now responsible for approaching 60 insites™ nationally. An Insite is where we have a dedicated presence on site, providing an engineering spares sourcing and stores management service.You will be managing a new contract within a well-established food industry portfolio. Very much a high profile, household name this customer will be both demanding and rewarding at the same timeThe successful candidate will be responsible for 7 sites primarily located between Northampton and Manchester with direct responsibility for each site’s Insite Manager. Preferably you will have a background in industrial, multi-site regional operations management. Ideally, we are looking for someone based in the East or West Midlands, Staffordshire or Cheshire areas but certainly a central UK location is required.Who we areWe started with an ambition to disrupt the traditional model of European industrial distribution, and a commitment to doing things differently for our colleagues and customers.Today, we are the clear market leader with a presence in 22 markets and sales of €3bn in 2022.Our customers include some of the biggest names in manufacturing, the SMEs that form the backbone of industry and everything in-betweenMore than a mover of boxes, we use our specialist knowledge and technical expertise to deliver products and services that keep production lines moving.Right now, there are 9,000 of us and counting. We’ve disrupted and we have grown, but we’re not finished yet.Key responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the combined P&L for all Insites™.
  • Provide leadership and motivation both in person and remotely to all Insite Managers
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of agreed levels of customer service
  • Work with the Insite Managers in the preparation and submission of forecasts
  • Implement and monitor the Company Scorecard report, ensuring “best practice” principle across all Insites within the region.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement standard core processes in order to deliver consistent service and performance levels for the customer.
  • Agree and execute customer specific Implementation plans.
  • Develop on site relationships with the customer by setting and attending regular review meetings and assisting in efficiency programmes.
  • Attend regular internal review meetings to discuss Regional Insite performance and contract compliance.

Competencies required

  • Demonstrated understanding of point of sop/purchasing/stock management systems.
  • Understands the concept of value creation and how to develop added value.
  • Experience of working within industrial distribution or a multi-site management role
  • Understanding of P&L management
  • Understanding & appreciation of stores management disciplines.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills, with the emotional intelligence required to lead a field-based team in the delivery of targets and operational fulfilment.
  • Naturally, customer focused, with a passion for creating a market leading proposition.
  • A visible and energetic leader who is able to enthuse and motivate a team.
  • Experience of appraisals, SMART objectives and staff performance management.
  • An initiative-taking self-starter who is comfortable working at pace.
  • Active listener with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Comfortable in making challenging decisions and driving demanding objectives.
