Job Overview:
CCR seeks a humanitarian professional with senior management experience for the dual role of Regional Manager and Emergency Response Coordinator. The role includes leading rapid emergency responses and overseeing CCR’s operations in the Middle East.

Responsibilities:

General management and coordination, including supervision and implementation of country programs, quality control, and reporting.

  • Conduct regular status reviews and evaluations of project implementation.
  • Develop productive relationships with donors, governments, partners, and diplomatic missions.
  • Oversee the development of country strategies and programs.
  • Pro-actively search for new funding and project opportunities.
  • Manage human resources in assigned countries.
  • Lead proposal development and submission.
  • Manage rapid emergency responses to crises, ensuring immediate and effective actions.
  • Represent CCR in coordination forums and stakeholder engagements.
  • Oversee needs assessments, response implementation, and monitoring.

Qualifications Required:

  • Experience in international development and humanitarian assistance.
  • At least two years of successful senior management experience.
  • Experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning and significant institutional funding experience is an asset.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse, multinational teams and excellent teamwork skills.
  • Strong track record of managing relationships with donors.
  • Experience in project proposal development, particularly for global donors like the EU or UN.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English (oral and written).
  • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive, independent, and timely task performance.
