Regional Manager – South Jersey

New Jersey Conservation Foundation is seeking a full time staff member to manage land preservation, public policy, and advocacy efforts in the Pinelands, Delaware Bay shore and South Jersey region including Cape May, Cumberland and Salem Counties. The successful candidate will work to preserve forested and open lands, farmland and waterways through acquisition and advocacy for policies related to land preservation. We are seeking candidates with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with landowners, federal, state and private partners and funding sources; familiarity with the region and its communities; broad knowledge of natural and agricultural resource issues; an interest in connecting people with the outdoors; excellent communication skills – public speaking experience a plus; ability to work independently and as part of the statewide team. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent training) preferred; proficiency with government funding programs for land preservation a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including paid holidays, vacation, sick, and personal time, health insurance, life insurance and a 401k plan.
