- Provide oversight and leadership of BRC’s Migration and Displacement work in the region, acting as a central focal point coordinating the interventions of the Red Cross/Red Crescent (RCRC) Movement partners delivering the work.
- Manage financial resources of the programme and contribute to organizational monitoring and reporting, ensuring compliance with Grant Agreements by partners involved in the programme.
- Represent BRC in meetings with donors, external stakeholders, and in policy dialogue relevant to migration and displacement.
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the Migration Technical Group’s action plan, in collaboration with the other initiatives of the Movement.
- Maintain consistent delivery standards and coordinated approaches across all programme interventions and contracted RCRC Movement partners.
- Participate in any coordination meeting related to Migration and Displacement. Identify capacity building needs of partners and lead the coordination of technical assistance, mentoring, training, and capacity development initiatives to partners.
- Fluent French and English language skills – reading, written, spoken.
- Robust working knowledge of the international humanitarian system, including Migration and Protection.
- Significant experience in programme management in humanitarian and/or development contexts, ideally with a focus on migration, protection and/or West and Central Africa regional experience.
- Strong knowledge of programme design, quality programming and effective delivery.
- Proven experience in managing large and complex grants or contracts to high standards of performance and accountability (preferably FCDO-funded).
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to work with a broad range of people, obtaining their commitments to deliver timely and quality inputs.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and diplomacy skills to facilitate the development and maintenance of strong and collaborative working relationships with various stakeholders.

Salary: £33,883 – £35,957 per annum DOE + £1617.13 monthly allowance
