Halcyon HSC are working exclusively with an independently run care provider that specialises in support for children and young adults with mental health issues including social, and emotional behavioural disorders.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, hands-on OFTED Registered Manager to drive the business forward into its next phase of growth.Our client is due to open a new service that will house two children with histories of complex trauma and placement instability, including disrupted educational / psychosocial development.If you take pride in exceptional service and care and have the passion and motivation to make a difference each day, then we would love to discuss the opportunity further.We are now recruiting for an experienced OFSTED Registered Manager: Monday to Friday, 55K per annum depending on experience.What our client is offering in return:Development and career progression opportunitiesAward winning training.Generous holiday entitlement; 38 days (including bank holidays)NEST pension schemeAnnual Performance Related Bonus SchemeStaff Appreciation DaysLong service awardsMonday to Friday working pattern.Friendly welcoming team with an open-door management styleShopping, Cinema, Retail, Childcare and Holiday discountsSubsidised days out and activities with our young peopleA free 24-hour employee assistance telephone helpline which is available to support employees and their families with personal, work, or financial issues.Discounted health care – the ability to claim back an annual cost of everyday healthcare, such as dental, optical treatment and specialist treatments.What we are looking for in an OFTSED Registered Manager:A minimum of two years as a Registered Manager of a Children’s Residential Home and be able to demonstrate a track record of successfully achieving a good CQC rating and taking an active leadership role.Can confidently manage a service from a compliance and operational standpoint, as well as working with referrers and managing tenders and frameworks.Work in partnership with individuals to create bespoke support packages.Equivalent Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services following the Adult Services or Adult Residential Services pathway.Please note that it is essential to have access to transport for this role as the position involves occasionally travelling to various locations to take young people to appointments, training school etc.
