Southampton NHS Hospital has been rated Good by the CQC, putting it at the very top of the regulator’s quality ratings.If you are a practitioner outside of the local area we would welcome your application and there is a very generous relocation package available to support you.Shift pattern to be expected: 7.30-18.30 x 3 days, 1x 6 hours am or pm shift, no weekends, no nightsWhat you’ll be doingAs an experienced registered Nurse you will provide skilled and considerate nursing care to patients in the Endoscopy Department taking into account their specific needs during procedures.Maintain and monitor high standards of care by using a systematic approach to individualised care, by planning and delivering care around the model of nursing in the clinical areaBe responsible for maintaining safe custody, witnessing, recording and delivery of all medication to patients in accordance with the Treatment Centre’s policy.Your sound clinical and Infection control knowledge combined with your ability to solve problems and think both literally and laterally will enable you to coach and support others in your team. We encourage sharing of best practice across our site to develop your skills and take advantage of our excellent clinical leadership knowledge.What we’ll look for in youDo you have/are you;

• NMC or HCPC Registered Nurse Part 1
• Relevant experience as an Endoscopy RN
• Evidence of personal and professional development
• Knowledge of current research, key issues and development in theatre practice
