About the Position
Our Community Nurses provide quality care as part of a team, allowing clients to remain in their own homes. Our Home and Community service based at Sunshine Coast is looking for a part-time Registered Nurse, to work in the Community across sunshine coast providing comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments and plan care.
We are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays for our Sunshine Coast services.
We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications and qualities:
- Ability to work autonomously as you will be out in the Community and travelling from client to client.
- Expertise in wound care, medication management, and post-acute care.
- Proven experience in community healthcare with a dedication to continuous improvement.
- Exceptional time management skills and a commitment to thorough, up-to-date documentation.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation systems and general computer knowledge.
- A heart full of compassion, boundless enthusiasm, and an approachable attitude.
- A strong commitment to client-centred care that respects and safeguards their rights, privacy, and well-being.
- Current AHPRA registration (Nursing).
- Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current Drivers License.
