Chemonics International seeks a Regulatory and Structural Economic Policies Lead for the upcoming USAID-funded Egypt EconomyPlus Activity. The project will seek to improve the resilience of Egypt’s economy by assisting concerned Government of Egypt institutions to address selected macroeconomic challenges, with macroeconomic resilience defined as the ability of countries to withstand shocks and recover quickly towards potential growth. The Regulatory and Structural Economic Policies Lead will report to the Deputy Chief of Party and support activity design and technical implementation to achieve the project outcomes. Candidates should have experience in public private dialogue, private sector development, industrial policies, and blended finance mechanisms.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to help achieve Activity objectives.
- Manage and support design and implementation of program activities.
- Apply understanding of country context and key stakeholders.
- Lead a team of technical experts to provide the services required under Component 3.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, public finance, international development, or a related field is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
- At least five years of demonstrated technical expertise required.
- Experience scoping, designing, and managing activities and programs related to public private dialogue, private sector development, and/or blended finance mechanisms preferred.
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience advancing equitable, inclusive, and accessible programming that engages a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the country context and key stakeholders required.
- Demonstrated integrity, versatility, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English required. Arabic fluency required as well.
