Relationships Australia NSW (RANSW) provides a safe, judgement-free environment where individuals, couples and families can address the critical matters impacting their relationships, and their lives.
What you’ll do
- Provide quality client service in Relationship Education Group work programs, including working with individuals (men, women and children), couples and in some instances whole families
- Facilitate groups, creating a therapeutic learning environment for clients to explore individual, couple and family relationship issues
- Contribute to the design, implementation and evaluation of programs
- Maintain accurate client records
The details
- Predominantly outreach work in the Hunter Region
- Valid NSW Class C drivers licence and own comprehensively insured motor vehicle is required
- Approx $58 – $64 p/h + super
- Flexibility to run sessions after business hours both face to face and online
What you’ll bring
- Formal graduate qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or other relevant disciplines including group work training
- Experience in working with families and group work. Relevant experience in working in an educational context with adults and children
- Ability to provide quality therapeutic group work interventions that are person- centred, trauma-informed, strengths-based
- Strong cultural intelligence to deliver training to diverse communities
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills – builds connection and empathy quickly
