Vacancy Reference Number – 49757Job title: Relief – Logistics Security OfficerLocation: Sainsburys Sherburn / Argos Leeds LFCPay rate: £12.00Hours: Full and part time hours42 hours – 4 on 4 off with possible overtimeJob Overview:Mitie is looking for Distribution security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe working environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for all colleagues, contractors, and visitors at Sainsbury’s Sherburn / Argos Leeds LFC.You must hold a current SIA licence or valid SIA certificates (licence can be provided) and a full 5-year checkable employment/education history.SIA licence is favourable but not essential as SIA training can be providedMain duties:

• To deliver industry leading customer service
• To conduct patrols of the depot
• To provide a visible security contact for colleagues, contractors, and visitors
• Booking in and out of all Vehicles entering and leaving the depot
• Utilising CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
• Liaise with the depot management teams
• To deter theft, whether internal and/or external and other poor working practices
• To respond to any on site incident or request for assistance and assume control until arrival of the Client, Emergency Services or Depot Duty Manager
• To highlight all breaches of security procedures including internal and external crime
• Support with access and egress to and from the site as is required by the systems installed
• Gatehouse duties which will include booking in vehicles and supporting the transport operation (RDC ONLY)
• Must have reasonable level of PC skills
