Remote Fundraising Consultant/Director – Conservation

ACCF is partnering with Searching for Good to identify
a

 REMOTE FUNDRAISING
CONSULTANT/DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

 The ideal candidate for this mostly remote role (travel
will be required) will be based on the East Coast, have global
fundraising experience, preferably in the conservation space.

 The mission of the African Community and
Conservation Foundation (ACCF https://africanccf.org) is to
contribute to the preservation of important African wilderness
areas, as well as to empower the communities living alongside these
spaces, contributing to a world in which people and wildlife live
together, sustainably, forever. ACCF is seeking an experienced
fundraising partner to work with the Board of Directors and
organizational leadership to cultivate a community to donors to
increase impact and ensure the sustainability of ACCF’s critical
work in the region.

 Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure $1
    million annually for the foundation’s African community and
    conservation work.
  • Build a strong fundraising network and infrastructure in Africa
    to support the foundation’s mission.
  • Increase awareness and support for the foundation through
    social media campaigns and donor engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the foundation’s team to ensure effective
    communication and alignment with fundraising goals.
  • Bring the foundation’s philanthropic support to the next level
    by identifying new funding opportunities and maximizing donor
    engagement.
  • Manage cash flow and all facets of non-profit
    administration.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Non-Profit Management concentration
    a plus.
  • Minimum of five to seven years of progressive experience in
    fundraising.
  • Proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong dedication to the important mission of the
    Foundation.
  • Strategic thinker with leadership qualities such as an open,
    creative approach to problem solving.
  • Solid history of working effectively with developmental
    databases to manage, maintain, and utilize donor information to
    maximize effectiveness in all aspects of fundraising.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when
    working with high-net-worth donors.
  • Experience in Non-Profit management and fundraising for African
    Conservation or Community related work preferred.
