We are looking for handy and passionate volunteers with skills in carpentry, building, household or general maintenance and/or bike repairs to support our partner projects organisations in Greece as Repair and Maintenance Volunteers.
You will be involved in maintaining and repairing community centres facilities, supporting free shops maintenance as well as assisting with bike maintenance and repairs (depending on your skills).
For this role, everyday tasks will be different – your contributions will help ensure that essential facilities are well-maintained, contributing to the dignity and comfort of refugees in Greece.
Requirements:
- Experience and interest in repairs, maintenance and practical skills (A range of different skills within repairs and maintenance will be considered)
- Drivers license
- Flexible and understanding to change in schedule and jobs
- Availability of min 6 weeks
- Min age 20 years old
- Fluency in English (additional languages are always welcome)
