Introduction : Procurement for the Repairs and commissioning of Ice Making Machine under the ‘Supporting the Economic Empowerment of the Artisanal Fishing Community of the Republic of Mauritius’ Project: The scope of this particular procurement includes the repairs and commissioning of the existing Ice Making Machine located at the premises of the Agricultural Marketing Board (AMB) in Moka, Mauritius. The contractor shall be responsible for: - Transporting the ice making machine from AMB, Moka to the contractor’s workshop for undertaking the necessary repairs.
- Conducting repairs and necessary refurbishments, which include electrical, mechanical and the steel body enclosure of the ice making machine so as to make it fully operational to achieve its initial design performance levels.
- Store the equipment until the cubicle for housing the equipment being constructed at Trou Fanfaron is completed.
- Delivering the repaired ice making machine to the AMB Cold Storage at Trou Fanfaron Fishing Port, Port Louis.
- Installing the repaired ice making machine within the newly constructed cubicle to house the machine.
- Completing power connection and water supply piping works from respective sources on site including the laying of ducts / cables / pipes and fittings as may be required to provide the supplies to the repaired ice making machine.
- Conducting commissioning and providing training on the operation of the repaired ice making machine at the premises of AMB Cold Storage at Trou Fanfaron Fishing Port upon completion of all works. This training is required for a minimum of three days, which need not be continuous
