Reproductive Health and Rights (RHR) Facilitator

Emma organization is a feminist organization that provides rehabilitation, development assistance, and program services to vulnerable communities in Kurdistan.

Since its establishment in 2013, Emma organization is committed to enhancing community awareness on reproductive health as one of the pillar themes that Emma works on. In 2024, in partnership with Oxfam and through Masarouna project, a regional project in the Middle East and North Africa funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emma is planning to increase the awareness sessions on reproductive health in Kurdistan. To achieve this, we are seeking qualified facilitators to conduct awareness sessions over one year period.

 

• Objective of the Assignment:

The primary objective of this assignment is to design and deliver comprehensive awareness sessions to young people on reproductive health.

 

• Scope of Work:

The facilitator will be responsible for:

• Conducting a needs assessment to identify the specific awareness needs of the target audience.
• Developing a detailed awareness curriculum and materials tailored to these needs.
• Delivering engaging and interactive awareness sessions.
• Providing practical examples and hands-on exercises to reinforce learning.
• Evaluating participants’ progress and providing feedback.
• Preparing and submitting detailed awareness reports, including participants’ feedback and recommendations for future awareness programs.

 

• Deliverables:

The facilitator is expected to deliver the following:

• Detailed awareness curriculum and materials.
• 10-15 awareness sessions delivered per month.
• Evaluation reports and feedback from participants.
• Final comprehensive report summarizing the awareness outcomes and recommendations.

 

• Duration of Assignment:

The assignment is expected to start on August 15^st, 2024 and be completed by July 31^st, ,2025 covering a period of one year.

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor degree in medicine, education, social sciences or other relevant fields.
• At least one year of experience in facilitating awareness sessions.
• The ability to speak Kurdish and English, Arabic is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate participants.
