REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI): Supply, Customization and Delivery of One (01) Mobile Food Kitchen

Overview :

The United Nations World Food Programme hereinafter referred to as “WFP”, with its headquarters located in Via C.G. Viola, 68/70, 00148 Rome, Italy is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience by assisting almost 100 million people in around 83 countries each year.

WFP in the Philippines with support from the Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA), is implementing a multi-year strategy to enhance Preparedness and Response Excellence in the Philippines (PREP). In response to the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) official request, WFP, in collaboration with the Government of the Philippines, is co-designing a mobile food kitchen for emergency situations. This initiative is intended to address the need for temporary meal provision during large-scale emergencies, supplementing community kitchens established by LGUs. In small-scale emergencies, the mobile kitchen becomes the primary kitchen, and the Government aims to preposition these units in all 17 regions.

WFP invites eligible suppliers for the supply, customization and delivery of one (01) mobile kitchen to express their interest in the requested requirement of this EOI.  Suppliers are requested to fill out and sign the EOI Response form and send the accomplished form to manila.procurement@wfp.org on or before 13 February 2024, 17.00HRS, Manila Time.

Please note that this is not an invitation to submit a bid. WFP does not solicit any form of payment from interest suppliers who wishes to participate in procurement activities. WFP reserves the right to change or cancel this procurement process or any of its requirements at any time during the process; any such action will be communicated to all participants.
