Introduction :

UN HABITAT Nepal is looking for National Service Provider – Institution for Data Survey and its assessment to conduct survey on Cities 4 Women: Inclusive and Climate Resilient Urbanization in Nepal Integrating Gender Sensitive and Climate Resilient Urban Planning for Sustainable Cities.

The objective of the assignment is to:

– Undertake desk and field study for the assessment of the municipal planning process of Lamkichuha municipality – considering federal and local context and emerging issues of inclusion and climate change. 

– Conduct baseline survey of the project and prepare baseline survey report with information of each indicator mentioned in project’s log frame and M&E plan. 

– Conduct city wide assessment – inclusion, mobility, and accessibility audit of the public open space through inclusive and participatory approach in Lamkichuha municipality (Using HerCity Tool). 

– Conduct Climate Risk Vulnerability Assessment (CRVA) through an inclusive and participatory approach. (in six municipalities)

– Conduct municipal and community consultation for soliciting their inputs in and finalization of the assessments for visualization and presentations.
