The Norwegian Red Cross (NoRC) is part of the Red Cross and Red Crescent movement, which is the world’s largest humanitarian network. PURPOSE
The GST is seeking a reviewer consultant to support the Norwegian Red Cross in ensuring that the current GST mechanism is fit for purpose, sustainable, and aligned to the well-being of the employees while ensuring that operations are carried out efficiently and in line with overall unit objectives.
The primary objective of this consultancy is to create a comprehensive report detailing as much information as possible on the current deployment requirements, mechanisms running the GST. This report will also include benchmarking of the Norwegian Red Cross’ GST against its counterparts and analysis of best practices of similar surge mechanisms in the RCRC Movement and other INGOs. Finally, the report will provide specific tailored recommendations on how to better improve the GST mechanism and COEs to allow them to be as functional and fit for purpose as possible.
This report will be presented to and then considered by GST manager, GDMU Head of Unit, and IHR.
Bidders are expected to show evidence and experience in these kinds of assignments. In addition, the bidders are expected to submit their proposals in English.
