Introduction :

The Public Service Commission (PSC) is the main constitutional body involved in selecting meritorious candidates required by the Government of Nepal for Civil Service vacancies and is considered as one of the most credible modes of recruitment. The Commission follow the method of selection based on the Public Service Commission Act, 2079 BS and includes taking an open competitive written examination, followed by an open competitive practical examination and an interview. The PSC also has an important role in the promotion management of the employees. Established in 1951 A.D., the Commission has gained its reputation as a credible, fair, and transparent organization in the public administration of the country.
