Job Summary | The laboratory of Dr. Ashlan Kunz in the College of Pharmacy is seeking a Research Analyst Principal. The Research Analyst Principal will conduct hands-on, reliable and validated laboratory studies in-vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo, conduct study drug administration for models, and PK/PD antimicrobial sampling, and prep model samples for molecular analysis including RT-PCR, primer and probe design. Responsible for scheduling and coordinating model prep, conduct, and take down. They will manage all aspects of the lab and equipment. Responsible for maintaining adequate stock of supplies, reordering as needed, tracking inventory and logging all materials. Troubleshoot and repair equipment. Supervisor repairs of equipment to ensure completion and compliance. The analyst will also maintain the lab budget and align with budget goals and ensure equipment maintenance and supplies remain within budget The Research Analyst Principal will also assist and train other laboratory personnel in techniques related to molecular biology, cell culture, other techniques. They will supervise and train lab personnel in purchasing, laboratory policies, procedures and safety protocols. |
