Background
SoCha has an expanding profile of donor-funded MEL projects across Asia and seeks to staff a qualified research analyst to support these projects in the near term.
Scope of Work
The Research Analyst’s responsibilities will be to:
- Perform research, mixed methods data collection, and reporting tasks to support project activities.
- Provide structured, comparative analysis of findings and relevant documentation.
- Assist in translating data and findings into actionable conclusions and recommendations.
- Work closely with project team members to ensure project goals are met.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, research, international development, international financial investments, or related field.
- Experience with theory-guided document analysis, good understanding of basic concepts in monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
- A scientific mindset and the ability to work with abstract concepts, good understanding of research logics, and strong motivation to learn and discover.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Professional proficiency in English, both reading and writing.
Location
Location to be determined in south or southeast Asia.
Period of Performance
Full time position for the project duration, subject to availability of funding, following an initial probation period.
