Offer Description
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Institute of Physics and the Medical School of the University of Rostock invite applications of 5 PhD positions in quantum science within the DFG-funded International Research Training Group 2676 “Imaging quantum systems (IQS): photons, molecules, materials”. The position are to be filled from 1st October 2024 on a temporary basis for 3 years.
The school has been established between the universities of Rostock in Germany and Ottawa and Calgary in Canada with the possibility to obtain a co-tuelle PhD. In their applications interested candidates shall select three potential PhD projects provided on the IRTG website https://www.iqs.uni-rostock.de . Selection of the successful candidates will consist of a two-step process: an initial selection of candidates who will be invited for interviews, followed by a final selection of the 5 fellows, each working on an individual project.
