The major responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to):
Provide logistical and administrative support to the Senior Fellow, including scheduling and calendar management, handling phone calls and media requests, making travel arrangements, and drafting correspondence;
Conduct research and editing for articles, book chapters, and other publications;
Coordinate events, including preparing invitations, making travel arrangements, corresponding with speakers and presiders, helping to prepare background papers and materials for distribution, and providing other logistical support;
Shepherd reports and articles through the publication process, including drafting, proofreading, formatting, footnoting, and editing documents for internal use and external publication;
Assist with budgeting, including tracking monthly statements, monitoring grant information, writing reports and requests, creating and updating Excel spreadsheets, and preparing vouchers for reimbursement;
Assist the Senior Fellow with social media outreach, including publishing a blog, website, video, and/or using social media applications such as X, Facebook, etc., as needed;
Support other fellows and departments, upon request.
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in international relations, political science, energy studies, or a related social science field; strong knowledge of global energy and CO2 emissions outlooks preferred;
One or more year(s) related administrative and/or internship experience preferred.
