Job Summary | The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) is seeking a highly motivated, professional Research Associate Clinical I to contribute to the diversity and excellence of our department and to assist the faculty and staff of our fast-paced research center. The CCTS supports campus research professionals to ensure they are able to meet their research goals and ultimately improve the health of our communities and populations. In support of that vision, the Research Associate Clinical I role will serve as a team member of the Regulatory Knowledge and Support Core. Responsibilities for this position are that the employee will function as a key liaison for regulatory start-up, maintenance and close-out for principal investigators and their clinical research teams and clinical research personnel in the CCTS. This position will serve as a team member of the Regulatory Knowledge and Support Core to maintain study workflow and timeline documents. Successful candidates will possess knowledge of regulatory requirements for human subject’s research. Knowledge of International Conference on Harmonization – Good Clinical Practice (ICH–GCP) and FDA regulations and procedures. Effective oral and written communication skills, exemplary organizational skills, attention to detail, multi-tasking and time management skills are a must. Must be able to work in a team and independent environment. Familiar with the use of Oncore, REDCap and UK’s eIRB system. The CCTS is committed to diversifying our staff and faculty. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Knowledge of IRB and regulatory requirements for human subject’s research, knowledge of clinical research, Microsoft Office, Oncore, REDCap familiar with Web-based reporting software. Effective oral and written communication, attention to detail, multi-tasking, time-management, organizational and interpersonal skills required. |
