Role:  Research Associate – Diabetes and Menopause Project

Department: School of Nursing and Paramedic Science

Grade: Research Grade 6/7 (£31,414 – £37,119 per annum)

Responsible to:  Principal Investigator

Campus:  Derry ~ Londonderry or Belfast

Fixed-Term until 31st January 2026 / Full-Time(we may consider part-time 4-day week over 24 months)

Job Purpose:

The post holder will work with the research team to enable the project to be delivered on time and in-budget. This will entail contributing to a scoping review (searching and writing), focus group interviews and analysis, survey development, approvals, distribution and analysis. As part of the research team to promote the study with key stakeholders and to facilitate dissemination of results. It is anticipated that this study will form the basis for further research relating to interventions to improve services and to inform clinical practice.
