The Research Associate carries out work on NPRP Cluster to Study Public Policies and Governance Related to National Resilience

Salary: $3,000 monthly; commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

  • Two years of related professional experience. 

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with appropriate laboratory and/or technical equipment.

  • Ability to effectively utilize a computer and applicable software to create databases, perform statistical analyses, present data and perform other computer related tasks.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Essential Duties/Tasks:

  • Supporting outreach to relevant research stakeholders and managing communications with the stakeholders.

  • Carrying out and assisting with stakeholder researched, including network analysis, mapping, and quantitative and qualitative stakeholder participation analysis.

  • Supporting outreach to and communication with public policy agencies and personnel, assisting with planning meetings with public policy entities

  • Preparation of required technical progress reports to research sponsors and other duties as assigned.
