Research Associate (Multi-Modal Sensor Fusion Development)

Continental-NTU Corporate Lab invites applications for the position of Research Associate.

Key Responsibilities: 

• In charge of the multi-modal sensor fusion development of a cobot platform, including a robotic manipulator and an omnidirectional autonomous Automated Guided Vehicle for multi-modal tasking and intelligent interactions with humans

• Involve perception algorithm development, sensor fusion, test rig set-up, and experimental validation

Job Requirements: 

• The candidate must at least have a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation and Control Engineering, etc

• Candidates having relevant working experience will be preferred

• Strong background in robotics and automation

• Good communications skills and the ability to work independently and facilitate projects with minimal supervision

• Able to contribute to Journal/Conference papers with good presentation skills

• Able to plan and organize well and adhere to deadlines
